Ni Hao! My name is Xuan and I was 11 years old when I arrived at Dew Drops. I’ve been diagnosed with HIE (hypoxic-eschemic encephalopathy) which is a brain injury that occurs at birth. I compensate for this very well, but sometimes have a hard time making my legs do what I want them to do. It’s OK, though; I don’t let that slow me down! In April 2019, I returned back to a foster family in the orphanage I grew up in.
